#Empire total war darthmod 8.0 crash install

Weird thing is if I close the DME launcher and enable it for DME mode, I can launch the game and at least get past the Darthmod logo however it appears as if the mod isn't even enabled as the menu is the same and I can only play with vanilla factions, no matter what campaign script I use. I didn't like the game at release and didn't really touch it since, and I thought I'd give it a try with. Someone PM'd with a suggestion to try Empire Total War with the last DarthMod version (8.0.1).
